We believe in community

Gardening is better when shared.
When you garden alone, every challenge can feel overwhelming, every success fleeting. But when you’re part of a connected community of gardeners, you have a built-in support system that cheers your wins and helps you through the tough spots.

Each semester cohort brings together a group of passionate learners, just like you.

Over the course of six weeks, you’ll attend live online classes and stream self-paced classes while interacting with fellow students who are walking the same path.

Together, you’ll share ideas, celebrate breakthroughs, and build a camaraderie that lasts far beyond the growing season.

At The Dallas Garden School, we’re setting a new standard for gardening education by offering specialized topics you won’t find anywhere else.

Whether you’re learning the art of indoor seed-starting, exploring how to launch a small-scale flower farm, or mastering the techniques for growing incredible tomatoes, our programs are designed to equip you with practical, real-world skills that deliver results.

Our carefully crafted programs address the unique challenges and opportunities of gardening in our region, led by an expert who lives and breathes the subject matter.

Whether you’re a beginner looking for guidance or an experienced gardener ready to tackle advanced techniques, we provide the tools and knowledge you need to thrive. With us, you’re not just growing plants—you’re cultivating a deeper connection to nature, your community, and a lifestyle that’s rich with purpose and possibility.

Explore the heart of our semester program: Twelve expertly crafted classes–for beginners and advanced students alike–designed to take your gardening skills to the next level.

For winter semester, live classes will be held online Wednesday evenings starting January 22 and ending February 26. The self-paced specialty classes will be released weekly.

The semester will end with an in-person celebration dinner on Wednesday, March 5.
